During the 2020 lockdown I wrote a trio of sorrowful pieces themed around loom bands – a motif that seemed to capture so much of what was on my mind – and a character called Loomer.

The stories explore themes of climate angst and ecological despair, feelings that are now, sadly, woven into the experience of growing up in our world.
I’m hoping to expand these ideas into a collection – perhaps continuing Loomer’s story or maybe with a series of thematically-linked trios.
